I got really lucky with finding this dress in my size for half price at Sydney's Desordre Store. It's solid structure and pristine tailoring makes it really easy to be the first thing to grab for any occasion. The knee-length, sleeves and block colour makes it completely appropriate for work during the day yet the sneaky little cut-outs and surprising split doesn't make you feel left out and under-dressed for nighttime festivities. Perfect balance between sexy and modest whilst ticking all the boxes on either side of the spectrum

Lover Lover

Adding to the 'this is definitely one of my most prized items and I swear I will get its value's worth of wears out of it' rack of clothes. I have been saving this pretty little lover for weeks and weeks for the opportune event and a much-awaited friend's birthday seemed to be the perfect fit. A night of many stories, I think I gave the dress an ample first outing. How did everyone enjoy their weekends? Make those short days count! x

Ugly Duckling

How adorable is the swan on this top?! Anna Sui is just so talented at combining all her quirky, fun ideas into really easily wearable items that are just the right amount of pretty and crazy to reflect onto others. This top isn't so outrageous but some of her collections, I would absolutely love to wear on a day-to-day basis. Funnily enough, they remind me of the outfits my mum used to dress me and my sister in when we were younger. I don't know why we complained so much back then but I do miss the frilly and colourful dresses that make me twirl around and giggle like a little girl

These pants are definitely the most luxurious of all the pairs I own. The soft silky fabric drapes so perfectly that it feels like I am wearing pyjamas during the day at work, that's how comfortable they are. And it's always a plus when they are noticed for their eye-pop bright colour! Paired with classic Black and White to not take away from the way they were meant to be and I think we have a pretty acceptable outfit here!

It has been a struggle for me and more importantly, my partner in crime (aka my ever-patient boy) to find time with our hectic schedules to do proper photos. Be rest assured though I still dress to impress and still haven't found a medium at which I can dress 'professionally' with my flair of crazy without being stared at by puzzled yet pleasantly appreciative faces (well that's what I think anyway). 

So how is the start of the warmer season treating everyone? I am really enjoying the gorgeous sunny days and slightly chilly nights as it gives good reason for at least two outfit changes a day ;)

A second outfit post from the weekend- This night I went to a friend's party held in his city apartment and let me tell you that this was no ordinary average city apartment. Every single one of us there could not stop gawking at the grandiosity of this space. Must say, gave a lot of motivation to be successful one day to live in a place like that. I think this kind of attire might suit the lavishness that it was!

With the recent move, I've had a chance at glancing through my closet and finding some old pieces that have been stored away for years. This dress is one of the finds that inspired me to somehow re-work a forgotten piece with some new accessories for the weekend. The bubble skirt and the paisley print is a contrast and possibly a clash with the studded black boots and clutch but it had me twirling around, dancing the night away in keeping up with my everlasting teen spirit.

I've been shockingly bad at updating this space and I do apologise as there has been a few things keeping me away. A few things that I'd rather not have to deal with but amongst  the negatives, I had one of the best weekends with my beloved friends. Thank god for them to keep me sane and happy!
